When I first thought about becoming a health coach, my initial intent was to focus on anyone 50 years old or older. Since I am 69 years-old, my thinking was that since I’ve been there, done that, got the t-shirt, that any advice I gave would be much better received by someone in my general age bracket.
Since my father and sister both died, much too young, of cancer, I have a soft spot for anyone undergoing the same ordeal and decided my secondary focus should be on cancer prevention, and on anyone either diagnosed with cancer or undergoing or recovering from chemotherapy. As far as cancer is concerned, it’s personal.
My primary focus is on seniors, but I am willing to help anyone who needs to be inspired, motivated, encouraged, and uplifted. As a health and wellness instructor, I am open to anyone who is willing to give whole food, plant based nutrition a try and who needs either a pat on the back or to learn how to set nutritional goals and be held accountable for reaching them.
